The Major Phases of Research Process
The Conceptual Phase
This initial phase of research. The aim of conceptual phase is to prepare general plan of real research. This phase is where you formulate the research problem, determine the purpose of the study, searching and review of literature, development of frameworks, and creating hypothesis. This phase can be time-consuming depending on the expertise of the researcher.
The Construction Phase
This phase is where the selection of research design happens, identifying the population to be studied, designing the sample plan, identify the methods of data collection, finalize and review research plan, and conduct pilot study.
The Empirical Phase
In this phase, the researcher establishes plans and specifies the procedure for data collection. Also the researcher ensures confidentiality of the data collected. After that, you can now prepare your data for analysis.
The Analytical Phase
This phase is where the data that the researcher collected has to be analyze. It involves usage of broad range techniques like descriptive and analytical statistics. By that, you can now interpret the results of the data then the researcher now reflects, supports his findings with the consistency of the existing of literature.
The Dissemination Phase
This is where the results of findings has to be communicated. The final task of the project is to prepare research report. Those report could take any forms such as papers, dissertations, journal, articles, and professional conferences. And this is the last phase of research process happens.
