Activity 1: NCM 119 Unit 1

The nursing process entails using problem-solving approaches that need technical and scientific knowledge, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities in order to analyze, develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care. When assessing the patient, developing a nursing care plan, and executing therapies, critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and clinical judgment are employed. Frequent evaluation, with adjustments to the treatment plan as needed, is critical to assisting the patient in achieving the desired results. Throughout the nursing process, the patient is always the focal point of nursing care. Individualized, patient-centered care and assessing whether such care was successful in attaining patient outcomes are critical components of safe, professional nursing practice. The nursing process consists of five major steps:  Assessment is gathering and evaluating data in order to acquire a comprehensive picture of the patient's requirements and risk factors.  Diagno...

DISSEMINATION PHASE

The dissemination phase refers to the transmission of research findings to specified audiences in the study. The practice of communicating research findings with stakeholders and broader audiences is known as dissemination. We might examine a variety of strategies for disseminating our study findings as we plan for this phase of research. Among other choices, we may publish our results in a professional journal, produce a report for an organization, testify before a legislative body, or create a presentation for a community event. As you plan for distribution, address the following two essential questions regarding your research: Who are you hoping to reach out to with your findings? In other words, who needs to know the findings of your research? What do you think your audience will take away from your research?  Formulating distribution strategy for a research project will raise knowledge of the study and, as a consequence, maximize the impact the research can have on enhancing t...

ANALYTICAL PHASE

The gathering of data lays the groundwork for assessing reliability. As a result, while using the data acquired, we must plan for the information's evolution as the inquiry proceeds. A solid data collecting approach is required to ensure the reliance estimate is credible. A prediction is only as good as the data upon which it is based. The collection of data forms the base for measuring dependability. As a result, while using the data obtained, we must prepare for the information's progression as the investigation progresses. A strong data collection strategy is necessary to guarantee the dependability estimate is reliable. Besides the correct Literature Review and Annotated Bibliography, you have to choose a correct citation for the references and every legitimate owner must be mentioned as proper credentials, which may be in APA or another style. Introduce a set of the articles you've selected for the review article. Browse the material to get an idea about what the sourc...

EMPIRICAL PHASE

What is Empirical Research?  Empirical research is a type of research methodology that makes use of verifiable evidence in order to arrive at research outcomes. In other words, this  type of research relies solely on evidence obtained through observation or scientific data collection methods.  Empirical research can be carried out using qualitative or quantitative observation methods, depending on the data sample, that is, quantifiable data or non-numerical data. Unlike theoretical research that depends on preconceived notions about the research variables, empirical research carries a scientific investigation to measure the experimental probability of the research variables. In empirical research, the researcher arrives at outcomes by testing his or her empirical evidence using qualitative or quantitative methods of observation, as determined by the nature of the research. An empirical research study is set apart from other research approaches by its methodology and featu...

THE IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH DESIGN AND PLANNING PHASE

Research design is the plan, structure and strategy of investigation conceived so as to obtain answers to research questions and to control variance. It is a framework or blueprint for conducting the marketing research project. It details the procedures necessary for obtaining the information needed to structure or solve marketing research  The function of a research design is to ensure that requisite data in accordance with the problem at hand is collected accurately and economically. Simply stated, it is the framework, a blueprint for the research study which guides the collection and analysis of data. The research design, depending upon the needs of the researcher may be a very detailed statement or only furnish the minimum information required for planning the research project. The need for research design is as follows: 1. It reduces inaccuracy; 2. Helps to get maximum efficiency and reliability; 3. Eliminates bias and marginal errors; 4. Minimizes wastage of time; 5. Helpful ...

The Research Design

Image
A research design is, a master plan for executing a research project. It is a model of studies that allow the researcher to investigate the relationship between every variables involved. This could also served as the formal document of the research proposal. It comes with at least four problems such as questionnaire to the respondents, which data are relevant, what data to collect and how analyse the result.   As we all know, the purpose of research design is to make that the information acquired allows one to consolidate the certain elements of a study in a comprehensive manner to effectively address the research problem. There are different types research design but we got to choose one for our chosen problem and I guess my co-member has been presented already the design that we have chosen on her latest blog. Our study is entitled Barriers to online learning and their effects to academic performances of BSN Three Nursing students of JRMSU, during this time, online le...

The Research Problem

Research Problem: Different Factors that Affect Teenage Fatherhood Statement of the Problem: Most studies had already focused on the teenage pregnancy that tends to neglect the existence of young men who were also involved in the process. This study aims to identify the different factors that the teens were involve in a certain barangay or location and determine the percentage of teenage fatherhood among those factors that lead them become a father at an early age. Research Problem:  The Effects of Online Learning to Nursing Students Statement of the problem: This study aims to know the negative and positive impact of online learning specially now that we are embracing the new normal way of learning. It also commits to know the different factors that affect the nursing students in engaging online learning.  Research Problem:  Factors that Affect the Increasing amount of Obesity among Students Statement of the Problem: This study aims to point out the different factors to ...
